Roger is presenting a clinic/masterclass at the University of Delaware on May 6, 2008, and is the guest artist at a concert with the Jazz Ensemble at 8:00 that evening. Both events are being held in the Loudis Recital Hall. Tickets for the evening concert are available through TicketMaster. Following the concert, he will be traveling to Biloxi to perform with Liza Minelli at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino on May 9. May 22-25 he will be in Los Angeles for the Los Angeles Jazz Institute's The Stage Door Swings Jazz Festival at the LAX Sheraton Four Points hotel.

Roger was in NY performing with the Harry Connick, Jr big band at the "Concert of Hope" pre-mass performance when the Pope graced NY at Yankee Stadium. Last month, he completed the Asia/Australia leg of the Harry Connick, Jr, Oh My New Orleans tour. Cities included Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul, Manilla, Bangkok, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Perth.

Roger will be spending the rest of this year at his Chicago residence, and in January 2009 will be starting a Broadway production in NYC. As always, he is available for clinics and private teaching in Chicago, New York, or elsewhere. Roger performed the weekend of February 23-24 with the Terry Myers Orchestra Tribute to Benny Goodman. Shows were at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington Delaware and the Stamford Center for the Performing Arts in Stamford, CT.

Roger was in Canada with Paul Anka from Dec 2nd to 12th and he was in Europe October 24 through November 19 with the Harry Connick, Jr., "My New Orleans" tour. From October 2nd through the 6th, Roger was in Los Angeles, performing with the Buddy Rich Tribute Big Band, the Duke Ellington Tribute Orchestra, the Stan Kenton Tribute Orchestra, and the Gary Urwin Big Band for the Los Angeles Jazz Institute's "Calvacade of Big Bands" festival held at the LAX four points Sheraton Hotel.

Stars Teach Music Joining Bobby Shew, Arturo Sandoval, Wayne Bergeron, and the late great Maynard Ferguson, the Stars Teach Music trumpet series includes 10 video lesson/commentary segments.

Roger's recent clinician performances include the North Shore Jazz Fest in Glenview, IL, the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glascow, Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium in Copenhagen, the University of the Arts at Bremen University in Bremen Germany, the North Side High School Jazz Fest in Fort Wayne Indiana, featuring a performance with The Wildsiders and the New Millenium Jazz Orchestra, the Crescent Jazz Festival at Brigham Young University in Utah, Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts Jazz Band, and the Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson Kansas.

Roger's recent live performances include gigs with the Scott Whitfield Jazz Orchestra, the Chris Walden Big Band, the Pratt Brothers Big Band, the Alan Quinn Orchestra, the Big Apple Circus, Liza Minnelli, Paul Anka, and a multitude of various Broadway productions.



The Roger Ingram Calendar is online with performance and venue details. Any recording sessions, club dates/casuals that Roger does while at home are not necessarily mentioned on the calendar. The purpose of the calendar is to inform people around the globe when Roger will be in your area doing a live performance so you may take advantage of the opportunity to schedule a lesson or clinic with him.

Similar to the position he held at the University of Miami in the early 1990s, Roger is "Artist in Residence" at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.
