I am extremely pleased to announce my new trumpet:
The Jupiter Professional XO-1600I,
manufactured by Jupiter Band Instruments, Inc.
The official release party for the new horn was the "Trumpet Festival, College Fair, Day of Jazz" on April 17 at Jim's Music in Tustin California.

From December 2008 through September 2009 I was involved with the design, research, and development of a new XO series professional trumpet, the XO-1600I. The initial prototype was fantastic; it was designed and perfected by me with Jupiter's design team, headed by the great brass technician and designer, Don Sawday, with the expert input of Pat Sheridan and Sam Pilafian.

In mid-September I tested the first factory runs, and I have to take my hat off to the technicians at the Jupiter factory. These horns are consistent and fabulous. It's without a doubt the best trumpet I've ever played. It debuted at the 2009 Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago, Illinois and the 2010 NAMM show (National Association of Musical Manufacturers) in Anaheim, California. This affordable new horn will be available from Jupiter dealers at the end of the first quarter of 2010. Email inquiries about where and when you can get this fine instrument can be directed to Brent at Jupiter.

During the summer months, in addition to public performances and recording sessions, he teaches from home in Chicago. See the schedule for details about his upcoming activities.

Mr. Ingram is credited as a private instructor and clinician at Universities, Conservatories, and High Schools around the world.
