"I continue to be extremely impressed with the XO Professional 1600I Bb trumpet of my own design. The 1600I (manufactured by KHS in Taiwan) is simply the finest trumpet I've ever played, and believe me, I've played them all.

In December 2008 I was asked to be involved with the design, research, and development of a new XO series professional trumpet for KHS. In mid-September 2009 I tested the first factory run, and I have to take my hat off to the technicians who assembled these horns. They are consistent and fabulous."
  Roger ;-)
The 1600I debuted at the 2009 Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago, Illinois and the 2010 NAMM show (National Association of Musical Manufacturers) in Anaheim, California. This affordable horn is now available from KHS/Jupiter dealers.

More information about this instrument can be found on the equipment page of this website and email inquiries about where you can try this fine instrument can be directed to Brent at KHS America.

Jupiter/XO and KHS are strong supporters of music education. They will subsidize many of Roger's clinic/concert appearances. Because of this, the cost for these events is quite affordable. Arrangements can be made by contacting Victoria Clarke or the KHS artist rep, Rick DeJonge.

Since 2004, Roger has maintained an "Artist in Residence" and "Teacher of Jazz Trumpet" position at the Music Conservatory of the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.

As always, Roger is available for clinics and private teaching at home in Chicago or elsewhere. If you would like to have a lesson, please see his online schedule to confirm lesson availability that day, then email or call Vic at 708.250.7660 to setup a lesson time. The Roger Ingram Schedule is online with performance and venue details. Any recording sessions, club dates/casuals that Roger does while at home are not necessarily mentioned on the calendar. The purpose of the online schedule is to inform people around the globe when Roger will be in your area doing a live performance so you can take advantage of the opportunity to schedule a lesson or clinic.
